God’s Providence and Evil

God’s providence, sin, and evil in the world. God’s providence is most holy. “The Lord is righteous in all his ways and holy in all his works” Psalm 145:17 Even though providence reaches to and allows evil actions to occur, for His glory, yet He remains pure and holy, as the sun contracts no defilement, though it shines on a Dunghill (Us Philippians 3:8). God is not in any way the cause of the wickedness man commits against others or against Him. more than he who rides on a lame horse is the cause of its halting. Acts 2:23 says, Him (JC) being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you have taken and by wicked hands have crucified and slain. Every evil that is in Mankind’s actions proceed directly and flow from the wicked agent, as the stench of the Dunghill does not proceed from the heat of the sun, but the corrupt matter contained in the Dunghill. Grace    – God and Christocentric Luke 24:44

Obligatory grace  – to the father that gave him a Bride, called his sheep, John 6:37-40, 29  John 17:1-3, and to his own, 2 Timothy 2:13, Hebrews 2:13, Isaiah 8:18

Sovereign Grace – Actually atoned for the sheep from death to life, from Adam to Christ, by the Spirit of Regeneration, rather than only making possible mans salvation if they would submit, accept or believe, in their dead cold lack of spiritual Corpse under Law. In the everlasting covenant/kingdom/gospel (Hebrews 13:20, Ezekial 37:26, Daniel 2:44, Daniel 4:3, Psalm 145:13, Revelation 14:6), which is by works but not of Adam, but the last Adam, the Father sent the Son, the Son was made under the law, both blessing (Galatians 3:13 righteousness of it and redeemed us) and curse of it (Galatians 3:13b), to fulfill all righteousness and gave it to us who he died for, (Ephesians 5:25 church/Bride, John 10:15 Sheep) while he took on our sin, the great exchange 2 Corinthians 5:21, God’s doing not mans. And instead of man accepting the gift, the Holy Spirit regenerates and applies within the saint, the love of God which is shed abroad in our hearts, Romans 5:5. Salvation is of the Lord, Jonah 2:9 So rather than being conditioned on Adam, it was Conditioned solely on Christ the Surety of the Covenant Hebrews 7:22, Genesis 43:8-9 Judah/tribe of Christ, Proverbs 6:1-3 speaking of Christ ordered in all things and sure. 2 Samuel 23:5, before Adam was even created.

Provision- making Grace – Instead of Abraham’s son, God made a Provision for them both, in the place of his son, a ram (picture of Christ on the cross) was caught in the thicket, by his horns, so he took the ram and sacrificed it, as a burnt/surrendered offering, in the place of his son. Genesis 22:13. In verse 14, and Abraham called that place, The Lord will provide… (Hebrew – Jehovah Jireh). Christ, the sheep’s Substitute who provided the sacrifice of atonement that forgives. My sacrifice, My atonement which actually saved all that it was intended for, all that the Father gave to me, i lost none. My Grace, My atonement is sufficient for the sheep. The ultimate sacrifice, that ransomed his sheep back from the enemy of Death, unto his Father. Christ came down from heaven, not to do my will, but the will of him who sent me. And this is the will/covenant of him who sent me, that I would lose none of those he has given to me,  but raise them up at the last day. John 6:38-39 Provision that is applied once again by the Spirit of the Living God. No other possibility for any of these, but to be showed their salvation was actually accomplished before the foundation of the world, in another’s work, on Calvary, revealed to them in time, which takes away the guilt of their conscience of sin that condemns, and makes them totally free in Christ, to keep walking in Faith that their his.

Effectual grace – God’s Riches at Christ’s Expense of stooping down from heaven, to do righteousness, and do die under the curse of the law, which was our curse, which he freely took as our Substitute. This causes him to become sin and to give his righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21) to those he died for and ransomed (Matthew 20:28, John 10:15 his sheep, Ephesians 5:25 his church/Bride.

Lasting GRACE – His Lasting Grace will keep you from falling Jude 1:24, from the steadfastness of your faith in Christ’s finished atonement, Colossians 1:23, 2:7, meaning he will keep you walking in Faith, which he supplies the Body its nourishment all the day long. Which furthermore means he will not allow you to go back unto the law or the works of the law, that no man will be justified by Galatians 3:11. Christ kept the whole law, and he is the end of the law for righteousness, to every one who believes Romans 10:4. He who believes are the sheep, that are granted Belief/Faith Philippians 1:29, and granted Repentance 2 Timothy 2:24-26, Acts 11:18, which hear his voice and follow him, by Faith John 10:27-28. Who is he who has believed our report (of good news of what Christ has done for his own) those to whom the arm of the Lord has been revealed Isaiah 53:1, or they shall all (sheep given to the Son and the Son lost none, in the eternal covenant of submission) be taught of how far the arm of the Lord Isaiah 54:13, John 6:45, has stretched on the cross for them, in whom it was intended for, those he Died in their place for.

Christ Got R Done

Adam and all his race whom he represented i.e. all of us sheep were born into this life seeking how to please God by our efforts.

Isaiah 53:6

All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

John 10:11

11 “I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep.

Matthew 20:28

28 just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”

Romans 5:18-19

18 Therefore, as through one man’s offense judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through one Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life. 19 For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.

But the job of working out man’s salvation and redemption was in the mind of God the Trinity before the foundation of the world, and manifested in first century.

1 Peter 1:20

20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest/revealed in these last times for you.

Ephesians 1:4

just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blame before/because of Him in His/love,

Christ lifted the hard work than man could not do, by living and meriting a perfect righteousness for his people.

Jeremiah 23:6

In His days Judah will be saved,

And Israel will dwell safely;

Now this is His name by which He will be called:

THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS – YHWH – Tsidkenu

Furthermore taking the curse that we deserved on that cross.

Galatians 3:13

13 Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us (for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),

Thus their is no need to apply for that job anymore because Christ Got R Done and dropped the mike.

John 19:30

30 So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit.

Redemption by Gods will and not mans

Jesus-holds-man-nailed-cross

God’s own: called his bride, his sheep, his called out ones etc, were redeemed by another, not by their will, wholly outside them, and fully accomplished by the Lord Jesus Christ. No other possibility, for Christ said he came to do the fathers will John 6:38, that of saving his people from their sins. Luke 1:68 (Jew and Gentile = TRUE ISRAEL. It is not our pride, not our nature (depraved Genesis 6:5, Romans 3:10-19 etc) not our stony heart (pun – under law of Moses, i.e. the stone of commandments that Were against us) and surely not of our wills. …. which were born, (newly created as the new creation in HIM) not of blood (race- Jewish pride in their covenant race), Nor of the WILL of the flesh (by mans effort in obeying the law/NOT), Nor of the will of man (like we brought something to the table), BUT OF GOD. John 1:13 KJV.

How lost man sees Amazing Grace

Eph289_5x7-Text-2017-LeafBorder-PRESS_Page_1How our lost old man/Adam perceives ‘”Amazing GRACE”.

How strange the sound,
Salvation hinged on me.
I once was lost then turned around,
Was blind then chose to see.

What grace is it that calls for my choice,
Made from some good within?
That part that wills and heeds God’s voice, Romans 7
Proved stronger than my sin.

Through many gospel pleas,
I sat with a heart of stone.
But then some hidden good in me,
Propelled me toward my home.

When “I” have been there ten thousand years,
Because of what I have done,
I have no fewer days to sing MY OWN PRAISE,
Then when I have first begun.

Even the Grace to look to Christ for salvation, initially and afterward daily, comes from Him and thus can not be boasted in at all from mankind’s perspective, Ephesians 2:8-9. Salvation is of the Lord Jonah 2:9. Mephibosheth, the man that king David caused to sit at his table for Jonathan’s sake, which was on the side of his enemy Saul’s lineage, is a spiritual/covenant picture of us, “lame on both of our feet 2 Samuel 9:13, we cannot come to Christ unless the father draws us. This is amazing grace that he even calls any, let alone his sheep, whom he represented upon the Cross. Thank you Jesus that you Represented me and became my Substitute on the Cross.

Gospel of His Love

Hebrews 13:5 which is taken from the old testament Deuteronomy 31;6, because the old testament is the new testament concealed, and the new testament is the old testament Revealed in Christ. Let your conduct be without covetousness, be content with such things as you have…. (What we have is _C_H_R_I_S_T, who is our eternal weight of glory 2 Corinthians 4:17, and I AM your shield and exceedingly great reward, Genesis 15:1)….. For He Himself, has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you. Hebrews 13:5” For we have no need to be covetousness in the true applicable sense, which is spiritual or even in the natural, which the bible rarely speaks of, contrary to what mere mankind thinks. I would not have known sin except through the law, For i would not have known _COVETOUSNESS_ unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.” Romans 7:7/Exodus 20:17, Deuteronomy 5:21. Thus covetousness can only occur under the Law of Moses, so our text in Hebrews 13:5, then refers us back under this law of Moses, and its perfect contrast, freedom in Christ under the new covenant of his Blood. Under the curse of the Law, death reigned, that is separation from God, was established further by law, but by Christ’s blood that was shed at the Cross, this curse is removed from God’s children 100 fold, by what He alone did there. He further said, “It is finished,” john 19:30, so our verse is referring us not to outward things of the Law that would soon pass away in first century by Christ’s doing and dying, but rather the spiritual blessings he has blessed us with in Christ Jesus, Ephesians 1:3. These include but are not limited to the things he gives us freely (Hosea 14:4 I will love them freely NKJV, Matthew 10:8, James 1:5) Redemption, forgiveness or remission of sins, reconciliation, his everlasting life, and love, his mercies, his kindness in Christ, to name but a few of his benefits. So to refresh us again, our old nature only lusted/coveted for outward things, not named GOD, which kept on proving we were separated from him, by his law, and was a covenant of death. But under the covenant of his Grace, he is faithful to keep on reminding us how we had it under The law of death and condemnation, and how much the new covenant has given to us, even life and peace in Him.

The Just shall walk/live by faith in the finished work of Christ Part 1 of 2 so far

slide_12     What are the works that God prepared beforehand that we would walk in them? We will first start in Ephesians 2:4 to get God’s Mind on the subject. But God, who is rich in MERCY, for His Great LOVE, wherewith He LOVED US (in CHRIST JESUS BTFOTW), Even when we were dead in sins, Has he quickened us/made alive with/together with Christ by grace are we saved. And raised/resurrected us up together (because of his one on one union with us, by his Substitutionary work on our  behalf), and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Gk word for MADE is 4776 Synkathizo -syn 4862 meaning – Accompanied with and beside Christ for the reason of union with, sit down together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, made or allowed to sit at the KINGS TABLE (ESTER 5:1-2 and 2 SAMUEL 9:7-13, Psalm 65:4 Mephibosheth). (kathizo 2523 – Meaning to take one from a place of JUDGEMENT and CONDEMNATION, TO a place of Favor and Complete Restoration/Redemption, to place, seat someone, APPOINT them to sit/rest/recline upon, Jesus Bosom as their Perfect Sacrifice and Mercy Seat, where before we were solely his Enemies and it was solely a Judgement Seat, before the Cross, to stay and live forevermore in HIM!) that in the ages (age of the kingdom which is everlasting kingdom) to come He would show the Exceeding Riches of HIS GRACE in HIS KINDNESS TOWARD US IN CHRIST JESUS Ephesians 2:4-7. This little prefix of this Greek word is (syn) and brings our minds to the synagogue of Christ seated in his presence/favor to hear and enjoy forever what he has done for us FREELY Hosea 14:4.  This is the awesome BACKGROUND of Christ’s sacrificial love for his own, that are spiritually lame on both feet, 2 Samuel 9:13, That allows us his sheep to see what these works are, and of course God thru Christ, who maintains them, thru and by his finished works accomplished for us at Calvary. For by grace you have been saved (what Christ did on the cross for us/grace which is past tense), through (the faith of God Galatians 2:16 KJV, or the faith God himself provides which is the fruit of the Holy Spirit, Galatians 5:22) Faith, and that not of yourselves, it is THE GIFT OF GOD, Not of WORKS, lest  anyone should Boast. Ephesians 2:8-9
The question i have to you is what are these good works? God has ordained good works for his new creation (Christ in us) (in contrast to the old creation i.e. the Law given to Israel and contrary to Israel/and us today. Colossians 2:14), that we his people called his sheep, will walk in them. FOR WE ARE (present tense) HIS WORKMANSHIP, CREATED IN CHRIST JESUS (The KEY IN CHRIST JESUS) UNTO GOOD WORKS, WHICH GOD HAS BEFORE ORDAINED THAT WE WOULD WALK IN THEM. EPHESIANS 2:10 (BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD IN CHRIST ORDAINED/PREDESTINED us to walk in them. So it is a guarantee that we would walk in them, cause it does not depend on us but of HIS will. Now under TORAH/LAW we loved ourselves and hated GOD, now with the HOLY SPIRIT, teaching the sheep JOHN 6:45, we LOVE GOD and hate what we used to love, ourselves and our works, thus calling them But DUNG PHILIPPIANS 3:8. So loving God and hating our works at all times, is one good work he has ordained us to walk in. And what follows Christ in us is 1b we love the brethren. 1 John 3:14. This is Gods work (manship) in us, and that is why it is guaranteed that we would walk in them. 2 and last is Faith in CHRIST FINISHED WORKS, rather than ours, this is a byproduct of IN THE NEW CREATION or IN CHRIST. If anyone adds to or takes away from the finished WORK of God in CHRIST JESUS as our SUBSTITUTE on the CROSS, …… they are accursed……. REVELATION 22:18-19 and Deuteronomy 4:2, 12:32. GOD will maintain HIS FINISHED good work Titus 3:8 KJV (unless noted), in US, THAT HE FINISHED BY DYING AS OUR SURETY AND OUR SUBSTITUTE on the CROSS, by ordaining us to walk by FAITH not by any works of any kind, and to love him and to love his BRIDE/Brethren. These are the works that GOD has ordained and guaranteed for his sheep to walk in. The (already) JUST WILL WALK/LIVE BY (works/NOT) FAITH ROMANS 1:17, Romans 4:11-12, GALATIANS 3:11, HEBREWS 10:38 to name but a few verses. The reason why their is an admonition to sheep to maintain their sure foundation of walking by faith and to walk in these good works in Titus 3:8 that are ordained for us his bride, is that their was and is today people that tell you to go back to the LAW/WORKS OF MAN and to bring destruction upon themselves. Man is not justified or sanctified by the works of the law. Romans 3:20, 28, Galatians 2:16…. but by faith in him. BUT OF HIM (GOD the FATHERS WILL) YOU ARE IN CHRIST JESUS, WHO BECAME FOR US WISDOM FROM GOD, AND RIGHTEOUSNESS, AND SANCTIFICATION/HOLINESS AND REDEMPTION. THAT, AS IT IS WRITTEN, HE WHO GLORIES/BOASTS, LET HIM BOAST (IN THE CROSS GALATIANS 6:14, 2 CORINTHIANS 10:17 OF HIS GLORY, IN THE LORD.) 1 Corinthians  1:30-31. HE CHRIST is our wisdom for understanding salvation by grace alone, our RIGHTEOUSNESS JEREMIAH 23:6, He is our HOLINESS in order to see God, Hebrews 2:14, and He is OUR REDEMPTION all the way out of fallen Adam, and into Christ Jesus the LAST ADAM, fully redeemed nothing to be added to it, for if we add to his work, were saying that he is nothing to us, and saying to CHRIST, that he did not do enough when he stooped down to DO and DIE, for our complete REDEMPTION. To boot, if we take away from his glory of his finished work, by saying in our wicked hearts under Law, than again we are saying to Christ, WE need to do something in order to keep our favor with God. WHERE IS THE REST IN THAT, NONE, NO REST IN OUR WORKS, BUT THEIR IS PLENTY OF REST IN THE FINISHED WORKS OF CHRIST JOHN 19:30. Hebrews 4:9-10. AMEN and AMEN.

Immortality – Do all men posses it, or is it just reserved for the Brethren. Part 1

hqdefault (1)
NASB_1_Corinthians_15-1.jpgA+Mystery+That+Changes+Everything.jpg
PART 1 of MANY – The View of the Bible is the conditional immortality view and it says that Man in the garden NEVER had IMMORTALITY not Adam not Eve not Sheep Not GOATS, but must be given immortality and that only to Brethren. Its conditioned on God to give eternal life to whomever he wills to give it. And the Bible says In 1 Corinthians 15:1 Moreover BRETHREN……(only brethren) and in 1 Corinthians 15 53 For this corruption must put on (guarantee) in-corruption, and this mortal must put on immortality……... (Adams body not singular, but corporate view, Paul’s view when he says this in Romans 7:24 O wretched Man i am, who shall deliver me from this BODY of this death? (Adam’s sin death, corporate), He was not having a problem with his body singular, but the corporate body he was born into, the Represented body of Adam. In Romans 5:19, Paul says One man sinned (Adam) and Many (All whom Adam Represented by his original (First) sin, making them the rest of humanity or Many or those whom did not sin in his likeness Romans 5:14/New American Standard Bible and New Living Translation/, became sinners (the view of corporate spiritual death). The 2nd part of vs Romans 5:19 says this, “By one mans righteous act (the cross) many (the corporate view of whom Christ Represented and were their substitution) became righteous.” (an already view at the cross, but not yet at his coming presence in 70 ad. or the view of Resurrection from Torah to Christ’s kingdom where their is Righteousness, Peace/reconciliation/and joy in the Holy Spirit Romans 14:17). So we have established the Biblical view of only the ones who were put into Christ from Adam, were given resurrection from mortality to immortality.
Furthermore, those that say man had immortality (eternal life) and lost it, in the fall, are wrong, here is why. And the Lord God formed man of the dust (dust to dust Ecclesiastes 3:20) of the ground and breathed (5301 Hebrew Napah – To blow upon, breath upon, to cause to breath out) (physical life, no breath air in the lungs no physical life.) into his nostrils the “breath of life” (5397 – Hebrew Nsama breath, blast of breath/wind, life, life force/physical, breath, breathed) and man became a living being (not a living soul or spirit). Genesis 2:7 Thus no breath no life. In fact if Adam and Eve had immortal of life/eternal life in the garden then they would of been like God and would of been impossible and i mean IMPOSSIBLE to lose it, because eternal life is just that and with eternal life or immortality, means you cannot sin to lose it, meaning original sin would of been IMPOSSIBLE. But they sinned in the garden and lost the presence of God if you please, not immortal of life because they did not have it, for they were a CREATION and not DEITY, Deity could not have created them any other way, for they were CREATION. Furthermore in the book of Ecclesiastes 12:7 says, “Then the dust (mere creation Believers and unbelievers) will return to the earth (or dust) and the bas it was, breath (7307 Hebrew- Ruah- Breath or wind) will return to God who gave it.
P.S. – EVEN if you have all the prophets that speak about Christ, (Luke 24:44) and explain these verses from Christ perspective, (Ecclesiastes 3:20, 12:7) it still does not support that Man has immortal or eternal life without God given his own immortality at his coming. Let me explain in the light of these verses speaking about Christ alone, God created Christ as a Man/Son of Man/100 percent man, and gave him breath/SPIRIT (Spirit, some translations) without measure John 3:34, and when he accomplished the covenant by living righteous as our substitute, and then took on our sin, on the cross 2 Corinthians 5:21, he gave up HIS SPIRIT unto HIS FATHER Luke 23:46, meaning he was given breath/Spirit to accomplish the father’s will in our stead, and place, and when he did, his earthly body suffered 3 days of being in the grave, while Jesus the 100 percent that was God or the SON OF GOD, went into heaven, as he said into your hands/care i give you my spirit, on the CROSS. For any one of the 3 in 1 relationship of the trinity could not die and the DIETY GODHEAD still be whole, Just no way. But either way, whether this verse in Ecclesiastes 3:20, and 12:7 speaks about man or the Son of Man, without God given mere mortal man immortality or eternal life, they do not possess it. To prove this is COVENANTLY about Christ is only to go to Psalm 139:13-17. But again if Adam and Eve had immortal of life/eternal life in the garden, how could his original sin that we inherited, from him, actually occurred, in fact this original sin, just further proves they did not have eternal life in the garden, prior to acting out their nature, by sinning, cause you cannot lose ETERNAL LIFE, DUH!!!, by sinning or any other way, period.
Only Immortality belongs to God and its his prerogative to give it to whomever he wills according to his good pleasure of his will, i will have mercy on whomever i will have mercy Romans 9:15 and Ephesians 1:9. …. He who is blessed and only Sovereign and King of kings and Lord of lords, who ALONE HAS IMMORTALITY dwelling in unapproachable light….. 1 Timothy 6:17a (that is until man receives Immortality in 70 a.d. as their Resurrected from Law death and darkness/Adams sin death, into the light of the kingdom of his dear beloved Son, Colossians 1:13. Everyone since then is born if their sheep into immortality, they may not know it until the gospel is proclaimed to them, but God sees it this way. ……. 1 Timothy 6:17b whom no man (mere mortal, i.e. under law/death) has seen or can see, to whom be honor and EVERLASTING POWER. AMEN. 1 Timothy 6:17. So to sum up things so far, man was given the breath of life, to breath and physically live in the garden, and only in the finished work of Christ, who was given the Spirit of life 1 Corinthians 15:45, without measure, in whom was the kingdom inaugurated/initiated at Pentecost, where the Holy Spirit was poured out in Acts 2, and established in its fullness, consummated at his coming in 70 A.D. as he brought immortality to his own brethren, including all the sheep of the Jews and of the Gentiles, of all time. Thus it is written, “The first Adam became a living being, the Last ADAM (Jesus Christ) became a life giving SPIRIT. 1 Corinthians 15:45 English STANDARD VERSION This lines up with Christ was the Man/Son of Man, who’s Spirit went back to God Ecclesiastes 3:20. 12:7, but it starts with the first Adam, which only had mere life. To Further declare about Psalm 139:13-17, which speaks about how and when God the Father created the Son of MAN, Jesus as 100 percent Man, to fulfill which the first Adam could not do. “For you formed my inward parts, YOU wove me in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to YOU, for I AM fearfully and wonderfully Made JEREMIAH 18:4, Wonderful are YOUR WORKS, and MY SOUL KNOWS IT VERY WELL. MY FRAME was not hidden from YOU, WHEN I was made in secret, and skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth (Substitution, remade the clay the 2nd time, I.E. CHRIST the Perfect Last Adam). Your eyes have seen MY unformed substance, And in YOUR BOOK (all 66 books that contain our bible and that speak about ME, even the Psalms, Luke 24:44) were all written the days that were ORDAINED FOR ME, (not only the exact day of my birth, on a feast day but my death on the feast day of Passover, etc, but what i must accomplish during those days to bring many sons and daughters to glory), When as yet there was not one of them. (SON OF MAN) How PRECIOUS (CHRIST) also are YOUR THOUGHTS to ME, O GOD! How Vast is the sum of them! (the thoughts you have toward me……….. to do, all of the commands that i must do to bring many sons and daughters to glory Hebrews 2:10 NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION.
To start this mortal (mere life without life eternal) to immortality (eternal life, beyond physical death), the Holy Spirit was first given to them as a guarantee or down payment for better things to come (70 A.D. at his coming), that of the kingdom and immortality and Christ dwelling in his bride resting perfectly, the thing he always desired and accomplished by his own will. To have eternal (CONSCIENCE) punishment you have to have eternal life, think about it, for a moment, for to have anything that lasts forever or eternal and punishment you must have eternal life to begin with. And to have eternal life is to be in Christ, thus their is no eternal CONSCIENCE torment. And i think the scriptures speak for themselves and that notion is of complete error, and must be repented of by the grace of god. Repentance is a change of mind which is granted to us, by God thru the agent of the Holy Spirit, which is a change of mind to what we thought was the truth, now we see as a lie, to now see the Lie we thought to now be a truth.  Let God be true and every man a liar ROMANS 3:4. In other words we hate god by nature and are at enmity, his enemy by our wicked works and hostile him, cause we love and believe our good works are just that. God reveals to us that they are not good, In fact that we and are works are Dung, Philippians 3:8, and that he gives us a change of mind on what we are, dung and who HE is and what he did for us, Redeem us without any of our help, this is Repentance, 2 Timothy 2:24-26. This repentance that God gives to his own, is proof that they are his, it does not bring it into effect, cause Christ as the GOD/MAN did that by stooping to DO AND TO DIE. Amen

Matthew 16:24-25 is not for us to obey, For Christ our Substitute fulfilled it, with nothing else to be added to it.

maxresdefaultPhilippians-2-Verse-8If i may give another understanding from this verse 24-25 i For many years believed that salvation was of Grace from beginning to end, but we then come to this verse and many more in the New testament and initially we are moved to say wait a minute, grace plus works, and were confused until God teach us and that was me as everyone else for years. So We KNOW it is all of grace so ……. vs 24, remember Luke 24:44,  i often quote it, all the prophets not just the old testament prophets but also the new testament prophets spoke or prophesied about the coming of the messiah and his glory to be revealed at his second coming in 70 ad. and the New testament prophets were subject to the old testament prophets, 1 Corinthians 14:32, so Luke 24:44 quotes all the prophets are speaking of ME (JC in red letter). So here in Matthew 16:24-25 is speaking of Jesus Christ as our SUBSTITUTE, for he is contrasting a mere man Adam to the Last Adam/Jc must either deny himself and come after him, Well ADAM and us the whole Race Romans 5 (by one mans sin we all became sinners, when: Adam sinned, he was our first substitute, he/we failed miserably, now someone else took the test, and it was Christ and he passed with flying colors in our stead and place, Jeremiah 18:4 (Adam flawed in the potters hand, in contrast to Christ Jesus as he remade the Clay as he pleased, in whom i am well pleased (Matthew 3:17, Matthew 17:5.

Let me explain, further. Vs 24 Then Jesus, said to His disciples, If anyone (Adam/us in the garden, our options were over then and right then by the proof God thru Adam/his posterity us out of the Garden. No one seeks no one does anything good, etc) desires to come after Me, (in garden we came after ourselves in pride, Spiritual death manifest suddenly then) (Substitution manifest itself their, actually before the foundation of the world, before Adam and Eve sinned.) let him (notice not her, Eve so it speaks of the failure of Adam and His replacements success Jesus Christ last Adam, 1 Corinthians 15:45. deny himself and take up HIS cross and follow me. (this is a perfect picture of God coming in the likeness of man and coming down even further and denying his God side Philippians 2 and in Substitution doing what we cannot do, for Matthew is a prophet speaking about Christ/the Me as in Luke 24:44. For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, (Adam- all mankind, and Eve – woman Israel at the Cross, lost their life, when their substitute replaced and supplanted their life, as in David supplanted Israel’s first king Saul.

All mankind which was in Adam, ate of that tree and died by covenant death as Eve/woman/Israel gave the fruit to Adam, to eat. And at that moment of judgement He God established a new covenant with his people thru the Last Adams works, actually this covenant is called the everlasting covenant and the eternal covenant in the Trinity, which actually was made even before Adam/Eve failed.

BUT WHOEVER loses his life (Christ on the cross) for My sake (i came down not to do my will but the will of HIM who sent me. John 6:38 (or MY fathers will!!!!!….) will find it. (When did Christ lose his life and find his life? When God the Father layed his hands on his son, (seek sacrificial lamb) as he imputed his peoples sin upon his Son of man,  thus  all the wrath he had toward his people, He poured out on His own SON on the cross, (My God My God, why have you forsaken me), that is where he lost his life that he previously had with his Father in heaven. But as he obeyed the covenant of works that the Father gave him to do, he gained or found his life back, as he obeyed the will of his father, and was given back the glory he had with his Father by being raised up from the dead, proving that the God of glory was satisfied/pleased, with his Son’s sacrifice in his peoples stead, John 17:5.

Thus this is not something we do, works, But something He already did in his stooping down from heaven by DOING and DYING, thus establishing the eternal covenant of works that only he could do for us as our Substitute, and Surety. AMEN AND AMEN.

Galatians 2:12-14 Paul keeping the clear gospel of grace, rather than the works of the flesh.

And God saw that the wickedness of Mankind was GREAT in the earth, and that EVERY Imagination of the THOUGHTS of HIS/OUR HEART was ONLY EVIL CONTINUALLY. Genesis 6:5 Romans 3:10-19. Either Make THE tree Good (JESUS CHRIST and his CROSS) and its/His fruit GOOD, or else (in contrast) make the tree (Adam and Eve/the old man in all of us) corrupt, and his fruit corrupt, for the tree is known by HIS fruit. Matthew 12:33 King James Version. Even so every Good Tree (Cross) brings forth good fruit (Causes man to stop trusting in their good (DUNG) works (Filthy Rags, and come to God to trust in His Finished Works alone), but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit (of loving self and hating God. A good tree CANNOT bring forth evil fruit (Christ causes his sheep to come to him and trust solely in him, thru the CROSS. Galatians 6:14, Psalm 65:4, John 10:27, John 6:37-40, and vs 29. Neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree (all those in Adam) that brings not forth good fruit is cut down, and cast into the fire.  Matthew 7:17-19. (judgement of God.) ADAM AND EVE were the tree themselves that they partook of in the garden, they ate of their own counsel, kind of like where peter in Galatians 2:11-14 ate with the gentiles that received the Spirit and Faith from God, thus belonged to the Church of the living God, but then was persuaded to go back and eat with the Jews who trusted in circumcision, and followed after the law/the works of the flesh, and not faith in Christ finished work. Thus Paul rebuked him to his face because he was to be BLAMED, condemned with the Jewish citizens, he ate with, who trusted in law vs 11. Those who believe will not be put to shame, Romans 10:11 King James Version, 1 PETER 2:6 AMERICAN STANDARD VERSION. Peter withdrew from the fellowship he had in the Spirit with the Gentiles who were receiving the Spirit of Salvation, for he feared the Jews or the circumcision vs 12.But when i (PAUL) saw that they (Jews, circumcision) were not straightforward about the TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL, I said, to Peter before them all, “If you being a Jew (who has the HOLY SPIRIT and living by faith, the just shall live by faith), but now are siding with the Jews that trust in the law to be right with GOD, thus being a hypocrite vs. 13. By Peter’s leaving fellowship with Gentile believers to go eat with Jewish unbelievers, he was living in the manner of Gentiles, (and not as the Jews/true Jew regardless of nation by faith) He played the hypocrite, not living as a true Jew by FAITH, even though they who he previously was eating with, were TRUE  gentile JEWS because they were given the gift of Faith, in Jesus Christ, to go back to those Jews who did not live by faith, in their Savior. Why do you compel Gentile (believers who you once ate with to live as Fake Jews who lived according to law, that damns vs 14. Knowing that a man is not justified (declared Righteous before God, innocent) by the works of the law but by FAITH OF Jesus Christ, even we have BELIEVED IN CHRIST JESUS, that we would be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, for by the works of the law(those who you now eat with) (their own counsel, thus trusting in what Adam – Eve trusted in themselves), No flesh will be justified. Galatians 2:16

slide_3A side note that i cannot miss, is in the book of Acts which is before the book of Galatians, in our bibles but many and i would be one, that our order of our new testament books, at least some books (Genesis and Revelation of course are in right order, beginning and end) are not in order as of when they were actually written. Let me explain briefly as possible. Peter was not taught this lesson yet in the book of Galatians, But in Acts afterward, where i strongly believe this is the reason he was void of this understanding in our text in Galatians 2 where Paul rebuked him to his face of this Hypocrisy, thus proving that the right order is Galatians first then later Acts. The book of Acts 10:12-15 all the way thru Acts 11:18 speak of Peter being HUNGRY and wanted to EAT, Acts 10:10 (eating with the Gentiles Galatians 2:12) and he fell into a trance and ……..and saw heaven opened and an object like a great sheet …….descending to him and let down to the earth, in it were all kinds of four footed animals of the earth, wild beasts, creeping things, and birds of the air. and a voice came to him Rise Peter, kill and eat. But peter said not so, Lord! For i have never eaten anything common or unclean (rituals of Israels commands and laws) and a voice spoke to him again the second time, what God has cleansed you must not call common Acts 10:10-15…… These animals from the old covenant rituals did not here refer to Beasts but Gentiles, by the explanation God gave to Peter here in Acts 10:28 that peter should not call any Man uncommon or unclean, referring to the Gentiles coming into the faith. The unbelieving Jews and some of the believing Jews were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out on the Gentiles also. Acts 10:45. The proof that both Galatians 2 where Paul rebuked Peter before he understood these truths in Acts 10-11 and even Acts 15:1-12 are parallel scriptures that are to be taken together is these non coincidence things, 1. Peter was hungry and wanted to eat Acts 10:10 (eating with the Gentiles Galatians 2:12, 2. That God shows No Partiality ACTS 2:34 (Galatians 2:6 and last but not least 3. Their was a devout man a faithful man who feared God Acts 10:2, and in contrast peter withdrew from the gentiles and separated himself, FEARING those who were of the circumcision. Galatians 2:12. So this is some of the evidence that Peter did not yet get taught this truth that God does not show partiality to know one, even if that person is a Gentile.

We must remember that Peter was given the gospel to the Jews Galatians 2:7 and
Paul the gospel to the Jews until they rejected his gospel then he went unto the Gentiles, so he had not experienced the Gentiles receiving the Holy Spirit/salvation yet, so he would be susceptible to error as it comes to the Gentiles. For Paul did not consult with Peter till after 3 years after his conversion, Galatians 1:16-18, because God had to teach this as well to the Apostle Paul, he too thought his outward works made him right before God, until one day Christ threw him off of his high horse, and he saw that it was the new birth by the spirit of grace and not the letter of the LAW that mattered to God. So once SAUL/PAUL got taught he then could go and teach SIMON Peter with gentleness but with the authority of Gods word as well.
Christ as the perfect tree that bore fruit every month for all the saints Revelation 22:2, and its leaves were for the medicine to heal the nations,  is spoken in Revelation 22:2 and in contrast to all that the father did to His Vineyard – Israel and she only produced wild grapes instead of ripe grapes in Isaiah 5:3. Just as in Psalm 1:3 Christ is explained this way, both his tree/Cross and its fruit: And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season, his leaf, also shall not wither (like Adam’s fruit being the bad tree and producing bad fruit), and whatsoever HE DOES SHALL PROSPER.  Whatever he desires his word to go forth and do, it does not come back to him void, but produces/ accomplishes that which i please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto i sent it. Isaiah 55:11. In other words it is a good tree that produces the Good Fruit for the Poor in Spirit, and the spiritual needy. Christ did not come for the righteous but for the sinner, Luke 5:32, that needs the fruit of eternal life, that only comes from the cross of Christ, where they did not have Bad Fruit. And lastly in Psalm 92:13-14 Those that Be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God, They shall still Bring forth fruit in old age, they shall be fat and flourishing… (why because they eat/consume the fruits that Christ so graciously provided for them on HIS FRUITFUL CROSS), So to sum up these things we in our old man nature cannot,  nor did not produce only bad fruit from our dead father ADAM, but god who is rich in mercy and loving kindness gives freely the Fruit from his tree/Cross, to everyone who thirsts as our Last ADAM, and he also is the one directing us to not be liking the wells that we drank from before (our own wells of dry cisterns), but causes us to draw nigh to him, who has the living waters to enjoy forever. Amen and AMEN

Eternal Covenant fulfilled in Christ

Chosen+of+God+…as+many+as+had+been+appointed+to+eternal+life+believed.+(Acts+13_48)The Father Gives to the Son: Trifecta of John 6:37, 6:65, and 17:2.

John 6:37- Covenant
Everyone which The Father GIVES to Me will Come to Me.

John 6:65 – Covenant
No one is ABLE to Come to Me UNLESS It has been GIVEN to him from The Father.

John 17:2 – Covenant
He shall GIVE Eternal Life to Everyone which You have GIVEN to Him.

Ultimately,
Only those whom The Father GIVES to The Son will Come to The Son (John 6:37),
Because Only those whom The Father has GIVEN to The Son, are Ordained to Come to The Son (John 6:65), and Thus Receive Eternal Life (John 17:2).

That’s Why Acts 13:48 specifically says that as many as were ORDAINED to Eternal Life Believed (John 10:25-30, Romans 8:29-31 etc).

Loving God with all your heart Part 2 The just shall walk/live by faith in the finished work of Christ

Ephesians-2-810-1

Loving God with all your heart (how does it look). — To begin with we associate this verse from the new testament, this is wrong, for it is taken (First) from the old testament, which declares this is when God first spoke it thru Moses. Deuteronomy 6:4-6 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is (one) Lord: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with (ALL) thine heart, and with (ALL) thy soul, and with (ALL) thy might. And these words, which i command thee this day, (Shall) be in your heart; (future) KJV. So in Moses, or under the law of Condemnation, man had already failed in their father Adam, Romans 5:12. So this understanding from mankind, under the new covenant of grace is not the first image we have of this concept of loving God.So instead of ability, we see that the commandment to love God was first given to them by the inability/curse of the law in fact they could not obey his Commands, nor indeed desired to. Because the carnal mind (man’s mind under law) is enmity (Gods enemy and hostile toward him) against God, for it is NOT SUBJECT to the law of GOD, neither indeed can be Romans 8:7-8. Genesis 6:5…. Every imagination of the heart was ONLY EVIL CONTINUALLY! So then they that are in the flesh (a state of thinking that they can obey God’s commands whether they are in old testament or new testament) CANNOT PLEASE GOD Romans 8:7-8 KJV. …….Sons/children of god, who were born (regenerated), NOT of blood (the pride of Race), nor of the will of the flesh (the inability of mankind’s nature or will to obey the law, No flesh will be justified before God by the works of the law Romans 3:20, Galatians 2:16, 3:11) nor of the will of man (Not by man’s will/effort/choice or decision.), BUT OF GOD. John 1:12b-13. You did not choose Me, But i chose you…. John 15:16.

1-pet-1-2-chosen-according-to-the-foreknowledge-of-God-the-father

God commanded Israel to love God with all, all and all, their heart, soul, and might, speaks of the Irresistible work of the Holy Spirit who WOULD (Future) indwell them at Pentecost and beyond, in contrast to mankind’s inability to love God, thus making it not only possible, where before it was only a pipe dream under the curse of God’s law, But what is impossible with man is ONLY possible with GOD. And a new heart i will give you, (Not mended but ended. Not a changed heart, but one completely outside of us, the mind and heart and soul of Christ himself), and a NEW SPIRIT i will PUT WITHIN YOU (Shall be in you) Deuteronomy 6:6, now is a reality since Pentecost.). AND I WILL TAKE AWAY YOUR STONY HEART OUT OF YOUR FLESH (A reference to the 2 tablets of stone, i.e. the covenant curse of God’s law, that was against us, Colossians 2:14, until Christ fulfilled all of it, and put it away from us/taking away our stony heart, thus becoming to us the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes, Romans 10:4). AND I WILL GIVE YOU A HEART OF FLESH, Ezekial 36:26. In other words he By his Finished Work on the Cross as our Substitute removed the curse of the law by fulfilling it and thus 2-Thes.-2-13-But-we-ought-to-thank-God-always-concerning-you-brothers-beloved-of-the-Lordmoving it out of our way, and brought the promise of the New Kingdom by his faithfulness and his grace to us, from above. He did not remove our outward crooked ways, but removed the one obstacle that hindered him from having a relationship with us, his own law, which he fulfilled on the cross, both the blessing of a perfect life, and the removal of God’s curse in our stead. AS Christ replaced the oldness of the letter with his own SELF toward us, he is said to be the new heart under grace, in contrast to the law that brought forth spiritual death between Him and Us.

having forgiven us all our sins, by canceling the record of debt (law, debtors) that stood against us with its legal (law-commands) demands. This he set aside, (as he perfectly fulfilled it for us)(He set aside the old man (Adam) and his covenant) as the person and work of CHRIST the last Adam 1 Corinthians 15:45 on the cross had prevailed over the work of the first Adam), nailing it (the curse of the law that Adam brought to all of his posterity/race) to the cross. Colossians 2:14 So Christ’s as our perfect sacrifice, being nailed on the tree for his own, removed the curse for good. But as he was made THE CURSE, anyone hanging on a tree is made a curse. Galatians 3:13, The blessing of HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS was made ours (by double imputation). Thus as Christ was taking our Sin on his body on the tree, God the father was imputing to him our Sin, and thus he took the curse away, as soon as Jesus took all the wrath under his own law that the father had toward his own. God imputed our sins to him and then imputed his righteousness to us, this is the true gospel. For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin (sin offering), so that we would be made righteous/right with God through Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:21 New Living Translation. 2 Corinthians 5:19 says, To wit (to God’s wisdom or insight), that GOD WAS IN CHRIST, reconciling the world (not only Jews but now Gentiles) UNTO HIMSELF, not imputing their trespasses unto them (but to his Son, Example laying hands on the animals in the old testament and transferring guilt to them, i.e. a picture of our substitute) (look above), and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation (the Gospel of good news which reconciles).KJV Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered (by the work and blood of Christ on the cross alone) Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD IMPUTE NOT INIQUITY (works/worker Matthew 7:23 of iniquity, mans attempt to try and obey god, yet with disobedience), and in whose spirit is no deceit. Psalm 32:1-2 KJV (in whose spirit their is now no deceit, for God has taught him/her that the will of mans flesh John 1:13, in which they trusted to be sufficient, now to be filthy rags and dung, to now trust by the NEW SPIRIT who will be in you Deuteronomy 6:6, now to only trust in the sufficiency of Christ sacrifice. Thus he has no deceit anymore, he calls his own works no good, and in me their is no good. Romans 7:18, This is God’s doing and it is marvelous in our sight. Psalm 118:22-23 We do not stumble over the stumbling stone, which is Christ himself, because of our perceived goodness and self righteousness. So the conclusion of this matter of loving God, is only effected when He himself removed the law (the 2 Stones, that showed us to have only STONY HEARTS under his holy commands) that was against us, when God the father judged Christ as us, and removed his wrath away from him. I will heal their backslidings (how) I will love them FREELY, For my ANGER HAS turned away FROM HIM/JESUS Hosea 14:4 KJV. After he payed the penalty for our Sin in full, thus removing his wrath away from us, since His Work of Atoning was Substitutionary in Nature and made us in union with the thrice holy god. (Deuteronomy 6:4 The Lord is One (Trinity is one in unity with his people now.) So the regenerated soul that has been given the free gift of the Holy Spirit, (He shall be in you) who reveals the One True God, to his own, it is THEM and THEM alone (it is the 3 all all all’s in Deuteronomy 6:4, of the promise rather than the work of man, that causes/makes Psalm 23:2 man to Love God by the New Creation 2 Corinthians 5:17). Romans 5:5 And hope makes not ashamed, (law) because the Love of GOD is (continually) shed abroad in our hearts, by the Holy Spirit, which is given to us. This is never accomplished with a mixture of God’s finished work and he enabling us to maintain his work for him, but rather HE alone continually maintaining his finished work done on the cross (Titus 3:8 Maintain good works…) in our hearts as he irresistibly as God, keeps on revealing to us, just that, that our works are dung and his finished works are completely sufficient for all things. He thus gets all the glory in this way alone. Said any other way, it is god who gets lip service from man and Man who really gets the glory. You will hate the one God, by nature and love your self, or by irresistible grace constantly FROM THE THRONE TO HIS OWN, hate your works which killed him and love his works in your place. This is God’s work alone, without man helping or hindering it, for Salvation is of the LORD, Jonah 2:9. So we see, once again, that it is not about our obedience, for this can not but be considered disobedience of Adam (trying and failing even under grace), but the Obedience (OF ONE, CHRIST ROMANS 5:19) of our Substitute that makes all the difference, for how could God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit get all the glory any other way, unless he do the whole of the matter. Amen P.S. Then said she, SIT STILL (do nothing, Psalm 46:10 …BE still..), my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall, for the Man (son of man Boaz a picture of Christ) will not be in rest UNTIL HE HAVE FINISHED the thing this day. Ruth 3:18 (reference Isaiah 62:7, John 19:30 It is finished, Atonement) Amen and Amen.

Grace only found in the person and work of Christ

2018-02-07_01-13-30Paul said that he only boasts in the (Cross of Christ), where he was crucified to the world and the world to him Galatians 6:14.  God spoke through the Apostle Paul by proclaiming what exactly his Son, Jesus Christ did for his own. In other word, the (Person of Christ and His work). God’s grace found only in Christ’s shed blood on Calvary, where he took my Sin, and  gave me His Righteousness, where he took my place and became My Eternal Substitute, and now sits in heaven for me. He is now eternally resting because his work of atonement is finished. The result of his finished work, is that He never again has his peoples sin upon his shoulder or in his care Isaiah 9:6, because he forever took their sin away. The Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. John 1:29 This is Grace indeed. Grace that was merited by our Lord Jesus Christ.

Salvation is impossible with man

Matthew 19 verse 26Man (mankind) love (agape) darkness and will not come to the light, John 3:19, this is in contrast to the command to love god with all of our heart, soul, and mind, Matthew 22:37 It takes a miracle of Regeneration that only God can do and at his discretion, in other words he can regenerate someone or leave them in Adam, their own will, and this is God’s right. Man to give up his works and pride of his own recommendation (1 Samuel 15:1-15 Speaks of Saul, which is a picture of our flesh), must be given the Holy Spirit or they will just be ignorant of their own state, regardless of his outward show of religiousness and piety or not, or if he or she is considered to be moral or not from decent society. True faith in God’s finished work must be Granted to us as a gift he bestows on us and only thru him, it is not and i repeat not a joint task force between him and us. Philippians 1:29 “For to you it (salvation, prior verse) has been granted on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him (faith in him), but to also suffer for his sake.” Even the repentance from our dead works, that we inherited from our dead father Adam, to serve the living god, Hebrews 9:14 comes directly from God granting it as a gift to us. John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven” John 3:27. .…. if God perhaps will grant them repentance….2 Timothy 2:25.  …. Then God has also granted to the Gentiles repentance to life Acts 11:18.  And He said, “Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by my Father John 6:65.” Thus Repentance and Faith are given by God as a gift as James proclaims in his epistle to the church. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the father of lights, with whom their is no variation or shadow of turning James 1:17. In contrast Paul says in Romans 7:18 their dwells nothing good in HIM/US, by our flesh in trying to obey and please GOD. And God in another place through the apostle Paul says, “For who makes you differ from another? And what do you have that you did not receive?” Now if you did indeed receive it (Salvation by the Holy Spirit), why do you boast as if you had not received it? 1 Corinthians 4:7 The if here speaks against those who were saying they dwelt in Christ by their own Faith, etc (where they had no good in them), and by their boasting they brought something to the table, and had not received salvation at all. In other words why are you boasting against God and the Holy Spirit by your work of faith to save you, when it was god who granted you his gift of salvation. If we say any of our works keep our favor before God, then we are boasting in ourselves and have the pride of leaven in our souls, and boasting that since we prayed or have faith, or surrendered or this or that, then because of these works of so called obedience, GOD is indebted to us, NOT ROMANS 11:34-36 says, “OR Who has FIRST GIVEN TO HIM (GOD) THAT IT MIGHT BE PAID BACK TO HIM AGAIN. NEW AMERICAN STANDARD BIBLE” A parallel verse with ROMANS 11:34-36 is Job 41:11 which says, this, “Who has given to ME (God), that i should repay/recompensed him? EVERYTHING UNDER HEAVEN IS MINE.” ” NOW TO HIM WHO WORKETH IS THE REWARD NOT RECKONED AS GRACE, BUT OF DEBT ROMANS 4:4″ (that god owes us, NOT)Thus it is God who GIVES the GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE thru HIS HOLY SPIRIT, and no one can boast to say they gave their life to God, or They had faith in God, or THEY accepted Christ into their heart or they received the gift of eternal life thru their nature and will that is bound by sin, making God to repay them with Salvation, ETC., NO NOT NOT NO. Romans 4:5-6 goes on to say, this, “But to him that works not, But believes on him that justifies the ungodly/wicked, his (GOD GIVEN AS A GIFT) faith is counted for righteousness. Even as DAVID also describes the blessedness of the man, unto whom God imputes righteousness WITHOUT WORKS, …..” Furthermore, Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by THE FAITH OF JESUS CHRIST, even we have believed in JESUS CHRIST, so that we would be justified by the FAITH OF CHRIST, and not by the works of the law, for by the works of law, shall no flesh be justified.” GALATIANS 2:16 KJV. COMPARE Galatians 3:1-14.

This takes the Pride and self righteousness from both the believer and the unbeliever and is God’s intention all throughout the scriptures. By the way I am humbled by these Biblical Truths cause i falsely and erroneously believed that my works and my works of faith that i brought to the table, saved me, when in reality my works were Dung, even my own faith, mixed with dead works, before god, yet i could not see it, were it not for the True Grace of God. But not until God confronted me with the gospel of my salvation. (the good news of what Christ had done for me) Ephesians 1:13. In other words what Christ Himself had already purchased before the foundation of the world and manifest in time on the cross, for me, and all those who were his 1 Peter 1:20, Colossians 1:26, 2 Timothy 1:10). This was manifest on the cross, through his will alone, without my help, by regenerating me by his Holy Spirit. Then did I along with all of his saints, call all my former and future good works, DUNG!!!, Philippians 3:8, because he showed me a glimpse of Christ, all surpassing greatness, enough said. Grace, Mercy, and Peace to all those God grants eyes to see this as Gospel truth, Amen and Amen.

Me and my house will serve the Lord

big_thumb

Joshua 24:13-15 – I have given you (Israel of old) a land for WHICH YOU DID NOT LABOR (it was not the fruit of your work/hands, but mine says the lord), and cities (of refuge) WHICH YOU DID NOT BUILD (city made without hands, 2 Corinthians 5:1, Hebrews 11:10, Acts 7:47-49) and you (Israel) dwell in them (according to Joshua’s day) you eat of the vineyards and olive groves WHICH YOU DID NOT PLANT (not of mans hands/works but of God’s sovereign mercy and grace). Joshua 24:14 Now therefore fear the Lord….. (Israel was in the same predicament that Adam and Eve in the garden found themselves in, for one Israel was a continuation of their covenant parents in the garden. Their is NO FEAR OF GOD before their/Israel’s eyes Romans 3;18. What then? Are we better than they? NOT AT ALL Romans 3:9…) God’s command to Adam/Israel/us to fear him thus was futile and in vain or without hope, till the last Adam/Christ came and fulfilled that vain hope in Himself, Romans 8:20. To reiterate the text above in Joshua,

Now therefore, fear the Lord … and serve Him in sincerity and in truth, (because of mankind’s nature the threefold command to fear the Lord, to serve him in sincerity and in truth is impossible in and of ourselves, Luke 18:27). Thus God through Joshua must be prophetically speaking and referring us to Christ himself: For He is the sincere and perfect Way, Truth and the Life John 14:6. ….. And put away the gods (little g) which your fathers served on the other side of the River, (Speaking of the Red Sea in which God had led them from Pharaoh and the bondage of Egypt, through the wilderness and into the physical promised land of Canaan). Serve the Lord! (Man’s mind that is alienated from Him by their wicked works, (Will not, Cannot for the carnal mind is enmity (God’s enemy and hostile toward the true God) against God, for it is NOT subject to the Law/commands of God (Romans 8;20 again) nor indeed can be. So then those in the flesh/Adam CANNOT PLEASE GOD. Romans 8:7-8 Joshua 24:15

And if it seems evil... (and from our nature/will/heart/fleshly mind), that is all it seems, evil to serve the lord) …to you to serve the Lord, choose for yourself (choose the only option that you have, which is your idolatry flesh, which makes a god up in his own mind and says it is my god Exodus 32:4, Acts 7:41, which Israel did, Are we better than they? In no way. Romans 3:9). this day whom you will serve, whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River or the gods of the Am- o- rites in whose land you dwell. Not if, but since our carnal nature only desires/lusts against God, we then will make a god that fits this nature, which is in opposition to his ways. And throughout the bible starting with Adam and Eve, and including all of Israel, proved this to be true, without exception.   “But the natural/carnal man (everyone born of Adam nature) does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14…..

than choose for yourself (In your limited and inferior strength, UGH) this day whom you will serve, (Their was and presently is only two options man have that are in the natural state of their father Adam, and their resources are only one in nature, which limits them to only serve themselves, and God calls this Dung Philippians 3:8). Man left to himself/herself will always choose their will over Gods, without exception. whether the gods/masters/task masters of the Egyptians/ which your fathers served that were on the other side of the River (in Egyptian bondage and through the wilderness on the way to receive Gods judgments/laws to enter Canaan where they provoked the Lord and he was angry with that generation for 40 years, Hebrews 3:9-10). Our text in Joshua 24:15 was written after Israel entered into the earthly promised land of Canaan Joshua 7:7, which speaks to even after were saved and in the better promised Land of (Christ) (all the promises of God in Christ are yes and amen. 2 Corinthians 1:20) Even in Christ, Paul said in our best state, we can still only serve our flesh, in which God is never satisfied with. What a blow to mankind’s pride even after being redeemed let alone before, For i know that in me (that is in my carnal flesh) nothing good dwells, for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good, i do not find. For the good that i will to do, i do not do, but the evil i will not to do, that i practice. Romans 7:18-19. What Paul is saying is since he had been regenerated by Gods Holy Spirit, he had a will present in him (the holy spirit) pointing him away from his own works and magnifying Christ’s work upon the cross, as his Representative substitute. Before this, his nature was hostile against god and his enemy Romans 8:7. But regardless of this new life in Christ, he still in his fallen nature saw he was still unable to do good with or without gods spirit. Their is none good-but one, God Matthew 19:17, Mark 10:18, Luke 18:19. In other words, Paul’s doctrine was that it was NOT a dual work of God and man, but instead a solo work of God and god alone, that saves and sanctifies. Our will present in us before or after regeneration lies to us and tells us, now that were regenerated by gods spirit, we are able to obey his new covenant commands. According to god’s inspired scripture through Paul, this is not so. Who do we believe man or God Romans 3:4. Before or after receiving god’s spirit, we are completely dependent on whether god gives us his spirit of regeneration or not. Salvation is of the lord. Jonah 2:9 And when he gives his people his spirit, as our brother Paul states, then we are still under grace and must wait on him for his refilling of his spirit as well. This is not what man commonly proclaim, but it is what he teaches his people and since they are both his sheep and his HOUSE, they will serve him in this way, by the spirit god himself provides. All your children shall be taught by the Lord and great shall be the peace of your children Isaiah 54:13. Parallel passage: It is written in the prophets (Isaiah 54:13), And they (gods people/his sheep) shall all be taught by God. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me (Christ) John 6:45.

or the gods of the Am o Rites, in whose land you dwell. (Even though they dwelt in the old covenant promised land/A picture of Christ Full Rest Hebrews 4:9, they did not obey god and left some Am O rites etc, in Canaan. And Joshua said, “Alas, Lord GOD, why have You brought this people over the Jordan at all – to deliver us into the hand of the Am O Rites, to destroy us? Joshua 7:7” But in mans limited inferior will inherited from his father Adam, this is all he can believe/think and thus erroneously say, proving they are lacking the will to actually choose the one and true God, but in contrast Christ who Joshua is speaking of here (Luke 24:44) says, butAs for Me and My House, We Will Serve The Lord.” In contrast to man truly having only one option and that to serve themselves as the idol they have set up, Christ the head of his own House says Me and my House we will surely serve the lord. For every house (Hebrew-temple old/Moses and new/Christ and his bride) is built by someone, but He who built all things is God. And Moses indeed was faithful in all his house (old covenant temple and people), as a servant, for a testimony of those things which would be spoken afterward, but Christ as a Son over his own house, whose house we are if (Since) we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm to the end. Hebrews 3:4-6 Why do we hold fast our confidence?, Christ himself, because of God’s faithfulness 1 Corinthians 1:8-9, “who will also confirm you to the end, that you will be blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is faithful by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.” So Moses was faithful, but to god his faithfulness lacked substance i. e. Christ. So god knows who are his and who he will give his faith/faithfulness to so that they will persevere in him. This is called in holy scripture as His Household of Faith. This includes all of gods remnant from the old covenant and all during his kingdom age of his church. So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household. Acts 16:31. …especially to the household (hold fast) of faith Galatians 6:10 Now, therefore you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of god… Ephesians 2:19. Reference Joshua 6:17,25 with Rahab the harlot and her Fathers house.  This is not speaking to everyone in these peoples family, but everyone whom Christ purchased with his blood from eternity, whom he would impute his work of righteousness by faith to, in other words the household of faith. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered/atoned for. Blessed is the man (in last Adam/Christ which includes all the redeemed of the Lord, including his sons and daughters) to whom the lord does not impute iniquity (mans own filthy rags work of unrighteousness… Psalm 32:1-2 So what are we saying, once again in Joshua 24:15 says Me and my House, we will serve the Lord, because it is Christ the one who built the household of faith by his atoning work alone, that will keep us until the end Jude 1:24. Thus in closing, it is not Joshua in his pride and arrogance saying, “For me and my house we will serve the lord, But it was, and is Christ the Head of his House/Temple/Bride from eternity saying “FOR ME AND MY HOUSE, We Will Serve The Lord” because it was Him in the eternal covenant (Hebrews 13:20) within the trinity that had redeemed his people from their sins, with his precious blood. It was the lamb of god that took his peoples sins away on the cross John 1:29, with the shedding of his blood. The lamb of God that was slain before the foundation of the world, Revelation 13:8 1 Peter 1:20. Thus ALL GLORY GOES TO HIM not us, for he is Worthy of all praise. Amen and Amen.
